The Day Engine logo
Day Engine was a web app I created for the 2013 Google Cloud Developers’ Competition. It fared badly in a kind of no-useful-feedback-at-all kind of way. Ho hum, never mind.

Day-out setup page
It creates a day-out for you, based on things like:
- Where you are
- How long you want to be out
- Whether you are on foot or not
- How much you want to spend.
Keep on meaning to revisit it, but feedback from one judge “App does nothing” rears its ugly head and I put it off.
Results for a day in Auckland, NZ. Surprising because there are only 2 things to do in Auckland.
Despite the negative feedback I really cannot help thinking its a good idea. If you are interested in it, get in touch eh?
