Spitfire MK VII propeller blade. Part 1a: Re-modelling

This entry is part 1 of 2 in the series Spitfire prop blade

In previous post I modelled a prop blade in Rhino and Fusion 360 … in this post I do it again because it was very wrong.

Having completed the modelling, i started fiddling around with computational modelling of aerofoils – to work out the best angle to set blade at if it ever ends up in ceiling fan. (That is for another post). It was in this process that I realized that I had modelled the blade twist in the wrong direction. Doh!

Incorrect twist I had parametrically modelled in Grasshopper

Thankfully I had spent countless hours parametricallly modelling in grasshopper so was easy fix to correct, and I had modelled with Design History on in Fusion.
